Amazing Grace Bible Church

The God who created us wants us to walk on His path. He wants us to live according to His commandments. But everyone that has ever lived, with the exception of Jesus Christ, has walked on their own path. They have lived according to what they felt was right, and therefore they have broken God’s commandments. The Bible calls this sin and warns that a day is coming when God will judge us for sin. He will pour out His wrath on sinners.

But thankfully God has provided a way for us to be forgiven of our sins and to escape His wrath. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take God’s wrath for us and die for our sins. Jesus was sinless—He never broke even one commandment. And today, God calls everyone back to His path and promises to forgive their sins if they will turn from their sins and believe in Jesus Christ as their savior. Isn’t that amazing? No matter what you’ve done, you can have a fresh start with God today through His Son Jesus Christ.

When a person first believes in Jesus, they usually don’t know much about God’s ways. Just as a new born baby needs a loving family to help it grow and mature, new Christians need a church family to help them grow and learn how to walk on God’s path. As members of His church, we don’t claim to be better than anyone else. We just claim to be forgiven and learning about Him and His will for our lives.
